Our Team

Hi! I'm Rod Wallace, the founding pastor of Harbor City Church. I married my amazing and supportive wife in May 2001, and together we've served in a variety of ministry roles over the years.  We have five awesome children, and one of our favorite things to do is simply spend time together. We're a load, fun-loving bunch who enjoy laughing, hanging out, and having people over for meals and great conversations.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from William Carey University and a Master's degree in Theology with an emphasis in Missions from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Before starting Harbor City, my wife and I served in several church roles and have been living on the Mississippi Coast since 2004.

While serving as Missions Pastor at Micheal Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport, we began dreaming about what a new church on the Coast might look like. In early 2019, with the prayerful support of our church family, we launched Harbor City Church with a few other families. After several moves, the church finally found its permanent home in the Woolmarket area of Biloxi.
